person of the week

Well, for those of you who came here today hoping to find a spirited rejoinder to some of my critics across the internet, I am sorry. I do wish this past weekend offered me that opportunity. But I have my priorities straight, and so I spent this past weekend in frenzied preparations for something much more important: my son, Cooper, is Person of the Week at his kindergarten.

Thank you. Yes, yes, I am very proud. Yes, even when he was very small I knew he was destined for greatness.

I will keep you up on all the festivities and obligations surrounding being Person of the Week (and Parent of Person of the Week). I thought I'd start, however, by letting Cooper tell you, in his own words, a little bit about himself:
